Flocrete Antifreeze Plus
Set accelerating and antifreeze admixture for concrete poured at low temperatures
Flocrete Antifreeze Plus is a multi-component concrete additive in liquid form for producing high quality concrete at very low temperatures. Flocrete Antifreeze Plus is chloride free.
Flocrete Antifreeze Plus provides for the following:
- Improved workability without increased water content.
- Reduction in water without loss of workability.
- Increased frost resistance.
- Improved early and long term strengths.
- Chloride free - does not attack reinforcement.
Flocrete Antifreeze Plus is recommended for use in conditions such as:
- Concrete casting at low temperatures.
- Expected overnight frost.
- Early concrete strength requirements.
- High strength concrete.
Flocrete Antifreeze Plus is available in 25 and 210 litres drums, and 1000 litres containers.
Store in dry conditions. Flocrete Antifreeze Plus has a minimum shelf life of 12 months if stored properly in its original unopened packing.
Dosage of Flocrete Antifreeze Plus will vary depending on cement content and outside temperature. Required dosage should be determined for each case.
Typical dosage is between 1 - 2% of cement content.
Dosages outside the typical range given above may be used to meet particular requirements.
Flocrete Antifreeze Plus complies with the following specifications:
- N934-2.
- BS5075.
- ASTM C494, Type C and E.
