Task at Hand

Godrej Palm Grove is the first prestigious residential gated community project in Chennai that is strategically located on Chembarambakkam Lake near Poonamallee.

Godrej Palm Grove is leisurely spread across 12.5 acres. In all, there are 14 towers proposed with a maximum of 19 floors in each tower with 70% open space.

The main aim of L&T at Godrej Palm Grove site was to use Mivan shuttering for self-compacting concrete of M30 Grade.

Total cementitious materials was limited to 450 kg/m3 and w/c ratio of up to 0.42%, in addition to self-compacting concrete, the project had large quantities of conventional concrete

DCP SOLUTION

To achieve the project requirements, DCP technical team developed a special admixture Supaflo special P. The admixture was developed to achieve the required specifications for the concrete mix using aggregate and cement from the site.

The mix trials confirmed that the proposed mix design did meet the project requirements and over than 150 tons of DCP's admixtures were supplied to the project.

The concrete cast in-situ consistency have met the required specifications throughout the project.
