Cement hydration controlling admixture
Donplast HC4 is a liquid admixture formulated from selected polymers specially designed to retard the setting time by controlling the hydration process of Portland cement and other cementitious materials for long time. This effect can be used to keep concrete mixes workable for long time starting from 3 hours until 3 days.

Donplast HC4 is available in 25 litre pails, 210 litre drums and 1000 litre bulks supply.
Donplast HC4 has a minimum shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture if stored properly in its original unopened packing at temperatures between 2°C and 50°C.
The recommended dosage of Donplast HC4 is between 50 to 2,300 ml per 100 kg of cementitious materials in the mix, including GGBFS, PFA or micro-silica. Actual dosage depends on the desired retardation.
Representative trials should first be conducted to determine the optimum dosage of Donplast HC4 to meet the performance requirements by using the materials and conditions in actual use.
Donplast HC4 complies with the requirements of Specification for Chemical Admixture for Concrete ASTM C494 as a Type B and D admixture.
